We all had so much fun at Hockey Field Day.
Parents transported us to Lloyd Elsmore Park where we played on the proper artificial turf. All the teams played four games each against other schools and we took turns at being substituted on and off the field. Each game lasted for 15 minutes and we ran for most of that time. It was very hard to score goals.
Mouth guards were compulsory and we found them very uncomfortable to wear. It was hard to talk to each other. We took them out to eat our hot chips between games.
