Our Community Dreaming Day was held Saturday 7th March. We celebrated what is great about our school and explored our Vision, Values, Mission, Dispositions and our three Strategic Goals in order to make sure we are meeting the desires of our community, as well as reflecting the expectations of the New Zealand Catholic Education Office, and the vision for learners from our national curriculum.  We also made the most of the opportunity to share information about the New Zealand Curriculum refresh, particularly the new Literacy and Mathematics Curricular.

We don’t want you to miss out on contributing any additional thoughts from the day, or to have your say if you were not able to make it on the day – please take a couple of minutes to share what you think is going well and where to next with us by completing a short survey.

You have until Thursday 30th April to fill in this survey https://forms.gle/M5wedUWx4DmnX8r18 or email your comments to lcampbell@starofthesea.school.nz.

Once this extended consultation comes to a conclusion, the OLSOS Leadership Team will work with the Board to adjust our strategic documents as needed and use the information to sharpen our planning and activity over the next three years.

With a humble heart I wish to thank all who have given their time, thoughts and energy to this consultation process.
