175th Celebrations – Drinks and Nibbles at Our Lady Star of the Sea School Friday 11th August 5pm – 7pm. 14 Oakridge Way.
This is the first event to kick off the 5 day Parish and School celebration of our 175th Jubilee. This is a family friendly event held in our school hall with a koha donation to help cover catering costs. Come along to catch up with old school friends, visitors and parishioners while viewing historic photos and memorabilia from school, orphanage and parish. 

Learning Assistant
We are currently looking to employ a learning assistant from 9.30-12.30 Monday to Friday term time only for the remainder of the year. If you are interested or know someone who could be interested please be in contact with Sue Yandell in the school office 5380195 or via email [email protected]

WHAT’S HAPPENING NEXT WEEK

Monday 7 August –

  • Come and see the completed blankets which our knitting club, parents, parishioners and friends have contributed to.  The blankets will be displayed in the Information Centre on Monday and Tuesday.  We will then package them up to send to Middlemore Hospital.
  • Coffee with the Principal at 2.15 – 2.45pm

Tuesday 8 August –

  • HPPA Cross Country 12.00 – 3.00pm

Wednesday 9 August – 

  • ICAS Digital Technologies 
  • Buddy Class Liturgy for Rooms 15 & 8 at 11.15am in the chapel.  All welcome. Donations for the parish foodbank are much appreciated.
  • Senior Team Speeches 1.20 – 2.30pm in the hall

Thursday 10 August –

  • Cross Country Saving Day

Friday 11 August – Step back in Time Day

  • Whole school wears olden-days clothes.
  • Parish Connect “drinks & nibbles” 5.00 – 7.00pm in our school hall
