Dear Families,
Happy Fathers Day to all our Fathers.
At this time, after two and a half weeks of Level 4 Lockdown, with at least a week and a half to go before we even look at shifting out of levels, I would like to express my sincere thanks to all whanau.
While our teachers have been working tirelessly to provide remote emergency school based learning from home content, you are the ones who have shouldered the responsibility of supporting your children in engaging with their learning.
In order to bring the best to our work and support our children, we all need to make sure we create time for ourselves to focus on our own wellbeing; pause, pray, walk, enjoy the fresh air.
Please know that we are so grateful for your support of the school based learning at home for your children at this time. You know your home circumstances the best; please do not feel pressure from the school to engage in learning that puts undue pressure on the happiness of your home at this time. If the work is too hard or too much, please reach out to your class teacher so they understand and can look at ways to further engage in a way that is suitable for your household.
We are all in this together. May God bless all of our efforts.
Nga mihi,
Louise Campbell
