The Life Education Van is visiting next week for all of our classes – Life Ed Van sessions are scheduled for all students throughout the next two weeks.
Tuesday 17th February
- 8.00 am Kapa Haka Our first Kapa Haka practice for 2026 will be held in the hall. All children welcome to attend
Wednesday 18th February
- 11.15 am Ash Wednesday Liturgy in our school hall. All welcome to attend.
Thursday 19th February
- 2.30-3.30 Parent Session in the Life Education Van for any parents interested in finding out more about the learning being undertaken

- 7pm Year 6 Parents Only Camp Meeting in Room 21 – NB, this is a change of date from the originally advertised 24th February date
Tuesday 24th February
- Last day to have Frozen Friday orders in to the OLSOS Parent Committee (see poster below)
Friday 27th February
- Last day to have your Get to Know the Learner sheets back to your class teacher
Saturday 7th March – 2pm- 4pm – save the date – Community Dreaming Day – coming together as a community to share information about the new curriculum. We will also work together to confirm our school direction, helping us to understand what is important for our young learners and families here at Our Lady Star of the Sea.
Today you will have received the first of four items of ‘pre reading’ to give you a bit more information about what we are going to talk about at the Community Dreaming Day. The aim of this pre reading is to give you time to think about the contents and come prepared to share your thoughts related to the topics being reviewed.
Friday 13th March
