On Wednesday the Year 6 students were given the opportunity to go to Wero in Manukau. When there they learnt about how to safely cross a river individually and in pairs, what to do if you find yourself in a current, and how to get to safety/help a friend if someone fell out of a raft. The students thoroughly enjoyed them selves and had fun while learning the importance of water safety. It was great to see the students pushing their boundaries and trying new things.
