We were very proud of Maia Tay-Morrison (Room 19) on Tuesday night when she represented our school at the HPPA speech finals.

Maia presented her speech entitled “Words” and she was amazing.

Her speech was both thought provoking and challenging and Maia presented it beautifully with clarity and volume.

The competition was very difficult and while Maia didn’t place on the night, we are still very proud of her.

The winning speeches were “Why everyone should read”, “Why homework should not be allowed” and “Courage”.

Thank you Maia for representing our school with pride.
