Science Fun!

The Year 1-3 Gifted and Talented Science programme was held 27- 29 June.  Each day students were released from class to attend hands on science experiences with Mrs Webb.  These were designed to stimulate and intrigue enquiring minds. Water tension, helicopter flying,  making carbon dioxide and milk paintings…each activity was selected using kitchen supplies and can easily be done at home.  The eager young scientists rushed home to teach their parents what they had learned. With the holidays upon us, maybe a ‘dabble into kitchen science’ can help pass a wintery afternoon.
