Our Information Centre is a welcoming, vibrant environment, where knowledge, learning and reading for pleasure are emphasised. It is an important feature of our learning landscape and is situated at the heart of our school.
Our collection of almost 8,000 books spans a wide range of levels, topics, interests and genres. It consists of senior fiction, junior fiction, picture books, sophisticated picture books, non-fiction and reference resources.
Parent Choice Collection
We also have a very comprehensive Parent Choice collection (180 books), covering topics such as
feelings, health, grief and parenting. Parents are welcome to borrow from this collection. Come and browse the shelves or have a look at our online catalogue to search for topics/titles (do an advanced search, search for Parent Choice under Type).
To find out more about our collection, please visit our Online Public Access Catalogue.
Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC)
The Star of the Sea Library Catalogue is also an Online Public Access Catalogue. This means you can check out the full range of books available in our Library.
