Dance Festival 

Students from Year 5/6 and Year 1/2 recently performed at the Howick and Pakuranga Schools 2011 Dance Festival held at Elim Christian College. The lively dances were choreographed by Miss Olivia Grey and Miss Brigid Carter-Chan with students attending many hours of practice. The Year 1and 2 dance was also performed at the recent Junior Team's school production - this dance had an "alien " theme with the cutest, sparkliest little aliens bringing a special surprise with them as they found their way around earth! The Year 5/6 Dance group ended the evening performances of moving and grooving by whisking the audience into a genre frenzy. From classical to modern, ballet to hip hop, the students twisted and turned their dance experience into a genre explosion!
