The Senior School is made up of 6 classes. Each class is a combined Year 5/6 class with approximately 29 students. In the Senior School we strive to develop leadership qualities within our students while at the same time allowing them to develop their God given talents more fully. We encourage servant leadership in our students. Their service is based on the school values modeled by those who have gone before us to establish our school, which is the oldest Catholic Primary School in New Zealand. Thus each Year 6 student is asked to serve the school community in one way or other.
Areas of Service:    First Aid Monitors (helping out at playtime in the Sick Bay), Librarians (helping to keep the library running smoothly), Wet Day Monitors (looking after children in their classes when it is too wet to go outside during playtime), Kea Patrol Monitors (helping students get to and from school safely), House Captains (developing school spirit in the students), PE Monitors (supervising the PE gear at lunch times and helping to provide PE gear for teachers), Hall monitors (setting up the hall for Assemblies), Technology Monitors (helping with technology for Assemblies and Liturgies), Bell Monitor (making sure we do things on time), Flag Monitor (raising and lowering the school and NZ flag), House Point Monitors (who collate the points earned by House members for Assembly), Bus Monitors (monitoring student bahaviour to and from school on the buses)
