The school is a contributing co educational primary catering for Year One to Six children. 

It has a U6 status and is staffed with 29 full time teaching equivalents for approximately 600 pupils, offering education with a Special Character.

We are a Decile 9 school. 

Our maximum roll is presently 620 pupils.

This urban school reflects a middle income socio economic range and ethnic groups inclusive of

45% European, 11% Filipino,
8% Chinese, 5 % Pasifika,
4% Korean, 3% Maori,
3% Indian
with a Latin American influence.

Most children live in the immediate Howick area though rural numbers are increasing.
